The F1 was purchased from a gentleman who was going through Cancer. After taking ownership they began the restoration process. They started by removing what was left of the bed. The vehicle was then sanded down completely, removing all the rust. New pieces were fabricated for the body, the doors, fenders and the bed. Next was filling, sanding then priming the whole body. Two Custom colors were chosen: Red Metallic and Silver Metallic. Custom Hand-designed and hand-painted flames were added to seperate the colors. Pin striping and Ghost Flames were added before clear coating. Six coats of clear coating to protect the paintwork. The Interior was sanded and painted to match the exterior. Black carpet was installed on the floor. The seat is from a 2012 Chrysler van. The Truck Bed was completely refabricated and welded. Wood Base was added with Chrome Slats for the Finishing Touch. The Engine Bay was painted and detailed. Custom Mag Wheels and Tires were created and installed. The Frame was wire brushed, sanded and sprayed with Rust Preventative Epoxy.
