Measuring over 223"" in length, you will want to measure your garage before you call us. Furthermore, this is one rare bird being a one-year only piece making this a pretty slick rig. Mercury marketed the Cougar from 1967 through 2002 and strangely enough was most commonly associated with a two-door coupe. This is definitely no coupe, but a absolute family trickster in all of its green glory. The interior is original and shows very nicely. The faux wood grain sides are dull and cracking but all there. The paint is a re-paint at some point and shows pretty ok....a solid 10 footer. The chrome and britework is all there and very presentable. The engine is a stock 351 that has remarkable pick-up. It starts easy, idles nicely, does not smoke or leak and sound quite nice. It goes down the road very comfortably and commands all the looks. The underside is in very honest condition with no rot or deterioration, only surface rust as to be expected. All the lights and gauges work as does the analog clock! There are numerous spare parts that accompany the Cougar, also this car has had excellent care and storage for several years with the current consignor. This is a blast to cruise and if you are looking for something to haul your whole family family in style or to a car show then this is your rig surely not to see another.
