Finished in Black Clearcoat over Saddle leather, the car is powered by a 302ci V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Features include a limited-slip differential, a rear spoiler, 17 cast-aluminum wheels, fog lights, a Mach 460 CD/cassette stereo, and air conditioning.
Interior:
The articulated front seats are upholstered in Saddle leather and feature power-adjustable lumbar support. Interior amenities include dual front airbags, a Mach 460 CD/cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 4k miles.
Exterior:
The SVT Cobra featured Cobra-logo fender badges and revised front and rear bumper covers when compared to the contemporary Mustang GT. This example is finished in Black Clearcoat and features fog lights, hood vents, a rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets.
Drivetrain:
The 302ci V8 features electronic fuel injection and GT40 cylinder heads for a factory rating of 240 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a T5OD five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential. Cast-aluminum 17 five-spoke wheels are mounted with Toyo Extensa HP tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with Cobra-branded front calipers.
