We just picked up our next project from a longtime owner who had been working on this car for quite some time. Actually, it had been a work in progress for the past 20 years. Initially, he was adding onto and rebuilding while he used the car for weekend cruising but most recently, decided to take the car apart to begin a total restoration. He got close but as time went by, he came to the conclusion that he would never finish his project so decided it was best to cut his losses and move-on! He contacted us and we immediately struck up a deal and bought the car.
This car is really nice and will be an easy and relatively quick restoration. What made this car super appealing to us is that it runs and drives (drove it onto our rollback) The engine sounds real healthy and the car has a lot of really cool updated and upgraded features too like a fresh rebuilt 355 c.i. small block engine, a fresh rebuilt 200R-4 automatic overdrive transmission and a fresh rebuilt 10 bolt posi rear with 3:55 gears. It also has new upper and lower tubular control arms, new 4-wheel power disc brakes, including all new brake lines and it also has all new fuel tank and lines too. It even has all new steering and suspension components and 17 polished American Racing Torq-Thrust II wheels with like new low-profile high-performance tires. It also came with a very nice black bucket seat interior with original console and gauges and correct shifter as well as brand new in the box door panels, dash-pad, carpets and headliner too! We plan on replacing all the glass, chrome, trim and weather stripping as well as all the lights, lenses, wire harnesses and pretty much anything else needed to complete the car.
We never cut corners and always spend the money in all the right places in every one of our builds so this car will be pretty much new everywhere you look!
