This 1970 Cougar XR7 is equipped with a 351 C 4 bl “M code”. It comes with a 4-speed transmission and original factory Hurst shifter, and Competition suspension. The car was later equipped with Ford power steering. It is one of the nicest original survivors that we have had. The iconic hideaway headlights work well. It is rust free car and fits well.
The paint, Deep Gold Metallic is original, and the car is a matching numbers survivor. The car was a New Mexico car and spent most of its life in the west.
It has a White Full vinyl roof and Medium Brown leather Hi-Back Bucket seats. The interior is in great original condition with a console and AM/FM radio. It even has its original trunk mat, see the Ford part number on the picture of the back side of the mat.
An original build sheet was found in it and will come with the car along with a copy of the Marti report. The mileage is 52,065 actual miles. With the new Magnums and new radial tires the car is a blast to drive!
