This is a one owner car built in 2013 by New Age Motorsports and then painted a matte black and clear coated over the black gel coat fiberglass. The frame is custom from New Age and features tubular sections along with the stock style sides.
Several American Graffiti / John Milner bits were added to the car such as the chrome reverse wheels, the rear nerf bar, the "cycle fenders" over the front tires, the bobbed rear fenders, the headlights, chromed drop front axle and the polished aluminum license plate holder... It also has the obligatory THX-138 license plate and the same in a CT plate out back... There are a LOT of folks who would pay good money for just that plate for their 32 Fords.
Where things differ a bit: This 32 has a crate Chevy 350/300HP engine, topped off with an Edlebrock 4 bbl carb. Shorty headers flow the exhaust out through 2.5" insulated pipes.
A 700R4 auto transmission puts the power to the BFG tires via a custom driveshaft and Ford 9" rear, set with what the owner believes are 3.50 gears. All of this is held in place by a long arm 4 link system, with adjustable coil overs.
The BFG's are radial T/A's with 235/70/15's in back and 205/60/15 in front.
The brakes are power - disc in front - drum in back.
Inside the burgundy and black leather seat is rather comfortable to drive in and is adjustable via handles down below, there are also two 12V power ports in the same area. The tilt wheel makes getting in and out easier and the tall 4 speed like shifter looks the part of what Milner had in his, w/o the small piston handle that he gives to Carol .
The lights and blinkers all work, LED in back, standard up front, there is no heat, or fan, but the windshield opens out and the power windows open and close easily. Autometer retro "Ford' gauges tell you voltage, fuel level, mph, water temp and oil pressure, all fitted into an engine turned aluminum panel. The single wiper does work as well.
The trunk is filled with a 12 gallon fuel cell and the battery. It is unfinished marine grade plywood as supplied by New Age.
The paint is in beautiful condition with just a couple of small stone chips on the rear fenders and another small chip on the left A pillar.
The chrome is in good shape throughout but would benefit from a day of just polishing.
The car only has 4400 miles and runs and drives great.
This car is totally ready to jump in and cruise your local Main street or maybe 10th Street in Modesto.
The owner is now on the hunt for a different car, so has decided to sell her.
Asking price is $36,500, which is pretty firm.
