Buckle up, buttercup, because this isn't just a regular 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with custom wheels. This mean son of a bitch has had a total makeover, and let me tell you, the owner did everything right, and no expenses were spared on this ride!
The owner started with a rust-free 63,000-original-mile car that was all original. This car has only been enhanced and is very tastefully done. Under the hood sits an LS2 aluminum 6.0 block with a 4"" stroke, making it a 403 cubic inch motor. It is equipped with a set of aluminum AFR LS3 Mongoose CNC ported heads, a Fast LS3 102 intake and fuel rails, and a Nick Williams 102 throttle body.
Mated to the motor is a Tremec TKX 5-speed transmission equipped with a McLeod RST twin-disc clutch, which makes it a lot of fun to drive this beast! It is spinning a PEM aluminum driveshaft connected to a very well-built Moser Muscle Pak 12 bolt with posi traction.
It's not all performance either; it has the handling to back it up. It features UMI tubular upper and lower control arms, Viking double adjustable coilovers, a Borgeson quick ratio steering box, a UMI adjustable front sway bar, UMI rear leaf springs, a UMI rear sway bar, and Global West welded subframe connectors. Driving this machine is so much fun, and it hugs the road like you wouldn't believe.
