1960 Rambler Super Sedan
VIN: C247379
This 1960 Rambler Super Sedan is built with an advanced method of body construction, in which the body and frame are combined into a single all-welded structural unit Pioneered and built exclusively by American Motors Corporation.
The Rambler runs and drives with 3 on the Tree. You have to hold it in 2nd gear until you want to shift to 3rd or it will slip. An In-Line Electric Fuel Pump was installed because the vacuum was weak. It was repainted back to it's original color of Blue around 15 years ago. It does have heat and it is sporting it's original upholstery from the factory but it's showing it's age with some tears. The Spare tire is present along with a jack.
The current owner is the grand daughter to the original owner. She's owned it around four years but her family has owned this particular car since it was new. With one exception, Grandpa sold it to a friend who later returned it to the family.
It's a running, driving project for the next new owner!
