EXTERIOR: A mean and lean looking Chevelle with the SS package! The quality of this paint job is well above average. The shiny Nevada Silver paint job will turn heads everywhere you drive. It has been beautifully executed and polished to a glass like finish. Looking down the side of the body it is 100% laser straight. The fit and alignment of all the body panels is exceptional. The doors both close easily. All the gaps are very consistent throughout. The bumpers and chrome trim show nicely. All the SS 454 badges plus the functioning cowl induction hood let them know you're not to be messed with on the streets. It has a fresh black vinyl top and racing stripes that are smoothly painted underneath the clear coat. It was also upgraded with front and rear LED lights. The factory style rallye rims provide this car with a perfect posture. The rear tires are a beefy size 275/60R15.
INTERIOR: This interior has been completely refurbished! The reupholstered bucket seats are both supportive and cushiony and look great too. The matching rear seat and the door panels with SS badges have been redone as well. It has seatbelts in the front and rear so you can take the entire family for a cruise. The center console has been nicely restored and the Hurst four-speed shifter is a thing of beauty. The dash pad has been replaced and the remainder of the dash was completely restored. It has additional factory style gauges, and the odometer shows only 630 miles since restoration. The Holley Sniper EFI digital display is mounted next to the factory radio and the builder added a modern triple gauge underneath. It has the original column and correct steering wheel with SS insignia. The headliner, sun visors and carpeting have all been redone. Even the dome light is working.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The performance built 454 is very stout! The block was bored 0.30 over and completely rebuilt, it has accumulated only 630 miles since then. Additionally, it is equipped with a Holley Sniper EFI system, Edelbrock high-rise intake manifold, MSD HEI distributor, billet pulleys, and long tube headers. A large aftermarket aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps the temperature cool and consistent. It is equipped with power steering, the power brake booster plus master cylinder were just replaced. It has a functioning steel cowl induction hood that is painted body color underneath. The fender wells and firewall have also been painted with a nice smooth black finish.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and jamb are painted slick just like the car. The weatherstrip, reproduction mat and tire cover were replaced. It has a full-size spare too. The trunk pan metal is all solid and looks fresh with a factory style spatter finish paint.
UNDERSIDE: Detailed undercarriage that's been maintained as needed since restoration! Front and rear sway bars with fresh links. New upper and lower ball joints. Adjustable coilover shocks up front. Rear control arms are boxed plus the shocks and springs were just replaced. Front disc brakes with fresh calipers/rotors and new lines throughout. Even the emergency brake is hooked up. Totally badass long tube headers plus a full 3" dual exhaust system with X-Pipe and Spintech 9000 Super Pro Street mufflers have this engine sounding like a symphony of mechanical perfection. New fuel pump just installed. Looking up at the stout 454 cubic inch engine everything is nice and clean, and it has an aftermarket Milodon extra capacity oil pan. The Muncie 4 speed manual transmission was recently serviced as and has a fresh mount also. The robust 12 bolt rear end puts the power to the pavement and looks great with a chrome cover too. The floors are solid and rust free with an undercoating and neatly applied black paint.
SERVICE: Our lead mechanic thoroughly inspected this car, and we installed a backup light switch, rewired the volt gauge, replaced the upper control arm bushings, lubed the door hinges, and re-flared one brake line.
An absolutely gnarly ride! This knockout car that has been painstakingly restored with killer performance and looks to match. It is very dialed in and ready to be driven anywhere. Truly an iconic image of American muscle car history!
