2002 NASCAR Dale Earnhardt Jr. For Sale- One Of The Most Recognizable NASCAR Liveries
LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo NASCAR Dale Earnhardt Jr. Not many cars are more iconic in American motorsports than the Dale Jr. Budweiser #8 cars! He is one of the sport's most popular drivers after following in his family’s footsteps with the pursuit of stock car racing glory. Making his first NASCAR start in the Busch series in 1997 racing the #31 car for his father’s team Dale Earnhardt Incorporated, Junior would go on to win back-to-back championships in 1998 and 1999 before stepping up to the Winston Cup series full time in 2000. Up until 2008, Dale Jr. would pilot the iconic #8 Budweiser Chevrolet for his dad’s team and garnered a reputation as a superspeedway master by achieving four consecutive wins at Talladega Superspeedway between the fall of 2001 and the spring of 2003. Highlighting his hall-of-fame career, Dale additionally became a two-time Daytona 500 champion in 2004 and 2014. This example was sold directly from Dale Earnhardt Incorporated to Gene Felton Restorations in 2002. Once in Gene Felton’s hands, they got to work preparing this special NASCAR to be able to compete in the HSC/SVRA vintage stock car racing events. The vintage stock car classes have become ever more popular in recent years as parts are still readily available and the cost to run is far less than most other series. This allows true enthusiasts to get out on the track in some of NASCAR’s most special race cars and get the same feeling as their favorite drivers.
