The C3 is the third generation of the generational Chevrolet Corvette, and many improvements to performance and handling arrived with this generation Corvette. The car presented at auction is a fine example of the styling of the C3 with a major upgrade under the hood! Under current ownership since 2010, the Corvette was subjected to a 3 year restoration that included body, interior and mechanical.
The exterior of this Stingray presents in a sharp paint scheme of silver and black. The body and hood panels appear very straight and the paint is deep and reflective. The Hood scoop offers a menacing look to this sleek beautiful car and contrasting paint and pin-stripe delineate both the hood and rear deck colors. Mechanically, a new Crate 454 was expertly installed and is topped by a three carburetor setup to feed the beast! Extensive chrome components under the hood offers a pleasing look to include the brake master cylinder, alternator, brackets and air conditioning components. The Demon Air intake alongside the black valve covers carries the exterior paint scheme to engine compartment. The seller reports a new manual transmission was installed during the build.
The interior shows very well with new carpet, seat upholstery, dash and a fresh looking console. Correct gauges appear new and right at 1030 miles show on the odometer.
