2026 Porsche 911, Taycan, Panamera and Cayenne get Dolby Atmos and Amazon Alexa

Porsche has announced that it is updating the infotainment system in the 2026 911, Taycan, Panamera and Cayenne models. The updated Porsche Communication Management (PCM) will now be more responsive, but the big news is the addition of Dolby Atmos and Amazon Alexa. The new infotainment system also adds access to third-party appsvia the the Porsche App Center, which the Macan EV already has. This lets users use specific third-party apps natively on the infotainment screen. For the first time, Porsche has added Amazon Alexa, which can also be used to use the third-party apps. Porsche is also upgrading its Bose and Burmester audio systems with the addition of Dolby Atmos. The Dolby Atmos system is an immersive sound technology, which creates a spatial sound experience for the occupants, but the prerequisite is that you need to use an audio source that supports Dolby Atmos.Porsche says that corresponding apps will be available in the App Center. Lastly, the 2026 Porsche 911, Taycan, Panamera and Cayenne models are getting the Porsche Connect, which lets you control some of the vehicle's features via your phone, for 10 years.
