| 1947 Lincoln Continental Convertible. Authentic look modern driveline Chevy V8, auto, power steering, brakes, windows, seats & etc! Stunning in appearance, with its outstanding classic car appeal. But that is where the similarity ends comparing it to others. This car has been radically enhanced so that unlike most others, its totally drive able and enjoyable. A pleasure to handle and drives with ease, as it has power steering, power disc brakes, power electric windows not the old hydraulic fluid type, power 6 way leather seats, that are far more comfortable and plush front and back compared to the original. The hood opens effortlessly and stays open by itself, the doors pop open with the touch of a button and close properly, the trunk has a spare and jack, the convertible roof is spotless, the paint is excellent thru out, as well as the chrome, front to back. Mechanically this car has a smooth running excellent fully chromed Chevy 350ci V8 engine, quiet no smoke and starts right up, coupled to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission, Chevrolet front end with power steering & power disc brakes, creating a excellent reliable easy handling driving automobile. Unlike the original that had a 12 cylinder engine, standard shift transmission, manual drum brakes, and hydraulic fluid options, old fashioned and crude at best. So once again this is a beautiful true classic car that looks old, but drives young, yesterdays style, and today's luxury, the best of both worlds, price wise compared to other Lincoln Continentals, and especially convertibles not coupes that are priced higher.
