| Universal Muscle Cars is proud to offer! 1967 CAMARO SS HOT RODWe just got in this Bad Ass 1967 CAMARO from a good friend that initially built the car for his granddaughter who wanted to go drag racing with the boys. Well, plans changed a bit, so he decided to build the car into this nasty Bad Ass Street Beast instead. If you can recall before Resto-mods were all the rage, we all wanted and most of us had a ground pounding Street Machine! The kind of car that would turn heads at your local car shows or Saturday Nite Cruise-In because of its cool looks and wicked sounding engine or... a car that you could drive to the drag strip and rip off a few high 10 second passes. THIS IS THAT CAR!! CHECK IT OUT!!The body is super solid and clean especially the floors, trunk and frame and the 2-stage (base/clear) Burgundy Metallic paint is absolutely beautiful. We just cut and buffed it to a deep luster and show car shine and then ceramic coated it to protect that shine. The glass, chrome, trim and weather stripping are all in like new condition too.The black standard bucket seat interior is also in like new condition too with new carpets, headliner and door panels. It has a new Hurst quarter stick shifter and a 4-point rollbar with up-to date racing harness seat belts too. It is all very-very nice!!Power comes from a super responsive strong running 406 c.i. small block pump gas engine that was recently and professionally rebuilt using some of the best parts money can buy like an Eagle rotating assembly and SRP pistons, big stainless-steel valves and a solid .585 lift cam with roller tip rockers. It is topped off with a race-prepped 750 cfm df/dp Holley carb and new ceramic coated Hooker headers with new 3 Flowmaster custom dual exhaust and a new MSD-6AL ignition system and distributor. Backed up by a professionally rebuilt race prepped TH-400 automatic transmission with a reverse manual valve body and a TCI 3000 rpm stall convertor and a new Moser 12 bolt posi rear with 3:55 gears.Other features include power steering, new 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, all new steering and suspension components, new fuel system, big aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan, frame connectors, traction bars,15 Weld wheels with Mickey Thompson rear drag radials and skinnies up front and so much more!
