| Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this sleek 1976 Chevy Corvette. This Corvette is a great example of how years of love and dedication can turn a cool car into an awesome car. This black beauty has been in the same family since 1977 and well cared for. Over the years it was the ride of choice for all kinds of family adventures creating lasting memories. After succumbing to age, the decision was made to bring the Vette back to better than new condition. Subsequently, the tired V8 was swapped for a new crate ZZ4 350ci and mated to a 700R4 overdrive transmission. In addition, a March pulley system was added along with a Be Cool aluminum radiator. A custom blended front spoiler and rear bumper cap were added before The Painthouse in Houston applied a beautiful black respray. The classic C3 styling is enhanced with polished 16" American Racing wheels wrapped in low profile rubber. This Vette has a mean aura about it. The interior is a complimentary shade of Firethorn with tweed seats and door panels. It looks wear free and is a comfortable place to be. All the gauges are in working order and the Vintage Air heating and air conditioning system works great! Mechanically the front suspension has been fully refurbished, the transmission was recently serviced with new pan gasket and filter, the power steering pump was rebuilt as well as a complete brake refreshening. The car comes with three pages of receipts covering the recent and extensive maintenance. If a fast, loud and reliable 70s Corvette is what you're looking for, this car fits the bill.
