1973 was the last year of the first-generation Mustang and the last year of the Mach 1's dramatic "Sports Roof" styling. Upgraded parts include a large radiator with electric fans, MSD distributor and ignition, Weiland aluminum intake manifold, Holley carburetor, K&N open-element air cleaner and headers that follow back through a rumbling dual exhaust system with balancing pipe and Stainless Works mufflers. A 9-inch posi rear end with 31-spline chromoly axles and 2.90 gears gets power to the ground. This Mustang handles great thanks to power steering, Viking adjustable coil-overs in the front and rear has well as Viking adjustable shocks. Stopping power is greatly improved with Wilwood brakes all around featuring drilled and slotted rotors and a Wilwood master cylinder.
